BL 40 Acupuncture Point Location:
Midpoint of the transverse crease of the popliteal fossa, between the tendons muscle biceps femoris and muscle semitendinosus.
BL 40 Acupuncture Point Indications:
- Lumbar pain, spasms and weakness of the lower extremities
- Erysipelas, rash, general pruritus, furuncle, carbuncle on the back
- Abdominal pain, vomiting, diarrhea
- Enuresis, dysuria
