HT 8 Acupuncture Point

Heart 8, Abbreviated as HT 8, Transliterated Shaofu in Chinese, Lesser Mansion in English.

HT 8 Acupuncture Point Location:

On the palm, between the 4th and 5th metacarpal bones. When a fist is made, the point is where the tip of the little finger touches.

HT 8 Acupuncture Point Indications:

  • Pruritus and pain of the external genitalia
  • Spasmodic pain of the little finger
  • Palpitation, chest pain

HT 8 Acupuncture Point Benefits:

Calms the Shen, clears Heat (mostly excess type), clears Heat from Heart and Small Intestine.
