Heart 9, Abbreviated as HT 9, Transliterated Shaochong in Chinese, Lesser Surge in English.

HT 9 Acupuncture Point Location:

On the radial side of the little finger, about 0.1 cun posterior to the corner of the nail.

HT 9 Acupuncture Point Indications:

  • Palpitation, cardiac pain, pain in the chest and hypochondrium
  • Manic psychosis, febrile diseases, loss of consciousness

HT 9 Acupuncture Point Benefits:

Resuscitates, calms the Shen, clears Heat, subdues Wind.
