KI 2 Acupuncture Point

Kidney 2, Abbreviated as KI 2 or KID 2, Transliterated Rangu in Chinese, Blazing Valley in English.

KI 2 Acupuncture Point Location:

On the medial aspect of the foot, below the tuberosity of the navicular bone, at the junction of the red and white skin.

KI 2 Acupuncture Point Indications:

  • Prolapse of uterus, pruritus vulvae, irregular menstruation, bloody leukorrhea
  • Acute infantile omphalitis (infection of the umbilical stump), trismus (lock-jaw)
  • Spermatorrhea, diabetes, swelling and pain of the dorsum of the foot

KI 2 Acupuncture Point Benefits:

Clears deficiency Heat, regulates the Lower Jiao.
