Kidney 4, Abbreviated as KI 4 or KID 4, Transliterated Dazhong in Chinese, Large Bell in English.

KI 4 Acupuncture Point Location:

On the medial aspect of the foot, posterior and inferior to the medial malleolus, in the depression anterior to the medial side of the attachment of tendo calcaneus.

KI 4 Acupuncture Point Indications:

  • Retention of urine, enuresis, constipation
  • Hemoptysis, asthma
  • Dementia, pain in the heel

Benefits the Kidneys, local point for heel/ankle pain, strengthens the will.

Luo-Connecting points of one meridian can communicate with two meridians.
