Kidney 8, Abbreviated as KI 8 or KID 8, Transliterated Jiaoxin in Chinese, Intersecting with Spleen in English.

KI 8 Acupuncture Point Location:

On the medial aspect of the lower leg, 2 cun directly above KI 3, 0.5 cun anterior to KI 7, posterior to the medial border of the tibia.

KI 8 Acupuncture Point Indications:

  • Irregular menstruation, metrorrhagia and metrostaxis, prolapse of uterus
  • Hernia
  • Diarrhea, constipation
