Li 3 Acupuncture Point

Large intestine 3, Abbreviated as Li 3, Transliterated Sanjian in Chinese, Third Point in English.

Li 3 Acupuncture Point Location:

When a loose fist is made, this point is on the radial side of the index finger, in the depression proximal to the metacarpo-phalangeal joint.

Li 3 Acupuncture Point Indications:

  • Ophthalmalgia, toothache, sore throat
  • Fever, redness, and swelling of fingers and dorsum of the hand

Li 3 Acupuncture Point Benefits:

Clears Heat and wind, benefit the eyes and throat.
