LR 2 Acupuncture Point

Liver 2, Abbreviated as LR 2, LIV 2, or LV 2, Transliterated Xingjian in Chinese, Interval Pass in English.

LR 2 Acupuncture Point Location:

On the dorsum of the foot, proximal to the margin of the web between the 1st and 2nd toes, at the junction of the red and white skin.

LR 2 Acupuncture Point Indications:

  • Redness, swelling and pain of the eye, glaucoma
  • Insomnia, epilepsy
  • Irregular menstruation, dysmenorrhea, metrorrhagia and metrostaxis, morbid leukorrhea
  • Dysuria, painful urination

LR 2 Acupuncture Point Benefits:

Clears Liver Heat, expels interior Wind, subdues Liver Yang, regulates Liver Qi, benefits the Lower Jiao.
